Natalie Portman continues to film scenes for her new movie Hesher from May 15 till May 21 in Los Angeles, California. Natalie is currently working alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rainn Wilson, and John C. Reilly in Hesher, which will be released in 2010. Meanwhile, Nat’s next big movie coming out in October is New York, I Love You. The 27-year-old actress joins an ensemble cast including Rachel Bilson, Hayden Christensen, Shia LaBeouf, Blake Lively, Bradley Cooper, Ethan Hawke, Christina Ricci, Orlando Bloom and many more in this love story based in New York. Working on a few action scenes for her latest project, Natalie Portman was spotted on the Hesher film set in Los Angeles on May 13. The V for Vendetta beauty playfully took to a gymnastics mat, practicing up on her stunts while flashing her undies for all to see. As for Hesher, the film is being directed by Spencer Susser, also starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and The Office funnyman Rainn Wilson. Due out in 2010, a synopsis via IMDB tells: “T.J, a 13 year old boy and his Father, both devastated by the tragic loss of the Mother/Wife, are now living with the elderly Grandma. On his way to school one day, T.J has a chance encounter with Hesher, a late 20’s year old with a troubled past. Hesher assumes a role as both mentor and tormentor, leading T.J into troubles he could never have imagined. Nicole, a young grocery clerk trying to make ends meet steps in to protect T.J from a vicious attack, T.J becomes enamored with Nicole, only to have his fantasies destroyed by Hesher. On April 24, Natalie Portman launched her new website Making Of in New York City. The 27-year-old actress worked with Christine Aylward to create the behind-the-scenes Web portal that shows the process of creating entertainment through film clips, interviews, and articles. “At MakingOf our goal is to bring that up-close experience to everyone, including the ever-increasing number of self-taught filmmakers, who find audiences for their films using new opportunities for video-sharing online,” said Natalie. On April 21, Natalie attended the TFI: Film Fellows welcome at the Tribeca Cinemas. She welcomed 20 Tribeca Film Fellows to the festival and gave high school filmmakers a preview of MakingOf.com, her new behind-the-scenes Web portal that provides a look into the process of creating entertainment by the insiders themselves.
