A spokesperson for Natalie Portman has denied reports that the actress is in line for the forthcoming My Fair Lady remake. Several stars have so far been linked to the role of Eliza Dootlittle, including Portman, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan. However, Portman has now implied that she is withdrawing from the running, having waiting nearly two years for the project to get under way. According to Gossip Cop, a rep for the 28-year-old confirmed that continued rumours of her involvement in the film are “not true”. My Fair Lady was first released in 1964, starring Audrey Hepburn as Eliza.
